Clay R Treese, Esq.

I grew up in the Las Vegas Valley, where I learned the value of loyalty and hard work early on by watching—and later working for—my father’s pool construction business. Those early experiences shaped my work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way.

As an Eagle Scout and graduate of Green Valley High School, I developed a love of service that led me to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South America. When I returned home, I worked my way through college, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UNLV’s Lee Business School. I went on to attend the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating in 2005 and earning my license to practice law the following year.

In 2006, I was honored to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable District Court Judge Cynthia “Diane” Steel—a highly competitive position that provided invaluable insight into the judicial process. Afterward, I spent three years at an insurance defense firm, where I gained an in-depth understanding of how insurance companies operate. Today, I use that knowledge to vigorously advocate for individuals and families facing difficult legal challenges.

I’m proud to hold an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell—a distinction that represents the highest standards of legal ability and professional conduct, based on confidential peer reviews by Nevada attorneys and judges. I am also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a recognition reserved for attorneys who have resolved at least one case valued at $1,000,000 or more.

I’ve been married to my wife, Amber, for 18 years, and together we have six wonderful children. Family is the foundation of everything I do. Despite the demands of our practice, we make it a priority to spend time together—often taking two weeks each summer to fish, camp, hike, and explore new places across the country.

I’m fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish, both of which I learned during my mission in Brazil. I enjoy using those skills to connect with clients in their native languages and to help them feel comfortable and supported during what can be an overwhelming process.
