Clay earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UNLV’s Lee School of Business then went on to the William S. Boyd School of Law where he graduated in 2005 and was licensed to practice law in 2006.
Clay was awarded a highly competitive clerkship with the honorable District Court Judge Cynthia “Diane” Steel in 2006 after which he worked for an insurance defense firm for several years, utilizing his time to learn all the ins and outs of the insurance world. Today, he utilizes that very same knowledge to fight for the rights of his clients.

Stephanie brings creative energy to the team at the Treese Law Offices. She is constantly creating, everything from food for her family, friends and the staff at the office to projects small and large for her home and retail settings. When Clay or Raul are looking at something too closely and need a different perspective, it is often Stephanie who is able to help then step back and see the problem from a few different angles which leads to the desired solution.
After graduating from Cimarron Memorial High School in 2010 she chose to attend UNLV and major in business. Stephanie had a very positive experience in high school with the Future Business leaders of America, serving as Vice President of her chapter for two years going on to compete in state level competitions twice and nationals once.
Stephanie continues to study at UNLV, providing valuable insight at law office and spending quality time with her family.
Though born in Santa Ana, CA, Ana Barajas has called Las Vegas “Home” since 1996. She graduated from Western High School in 1999 then went on to CCSN for three years.
Ana has enjoyed several fantastic experiences including working for the school district as both a teacher assistant as well as a front office secretary, assisting a chiropractor as his assistant in on accident patients, and a legal assistant in litigation. She has been with Clay for a year and a half as a legal assistant and enjoys working with him and the clients on helping them get what they deserve.
Married to Omar Barajas in 2003, they have two beautiful daughters. They also have a band, Vol. 1, that is well known in the Spanish music community playing for special events with celebrities. She is also the Vice President of the Nevada Soccer league that has tournament play for children, youth and adults locally and throughout the west.
Pam Brownfield is our litigation paralegal. She joined our team in 2017 and has over 20 years of litigation experience. Pam assists Mr. Treese with all aspects of litigation including drafting written discovery, drafting pleadings, noticing depositions, issuing subpoenas, preparing exhibit binders, all the things essential to preparing a case for trial. In her free time, Pam enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and cycling. She also loves to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Clay grew up in the Las Vegas valley and learned the value of loyalty and hard work early, watching and later working for his dad’s pool construction business. An Eagle Scout and graduate of Green Valley High School, Clay went on to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in South America.

Clay has been married for 18 years to his wife, Amber, and they have six children. Family is the cornerstone of Clay’s life and although he and his wife have put a lot into the law practice, nothing comes before his family. Along with Amber, they spend at least two weeks each summer with the kids on vacation whether it be fishing, camping, hiking or visiting different cities around the country.
Clay learned Portuguese on his mission in Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and enjoys visiting with his clients in their native languages. His Spanish isn’t perfect and it always gives his clients a chuckle to hear him work through the Spanish language. He hopes and tries to make his foreign language clients feel more at home in what can be a scary and overwhelming process.
